Live broadcast bar, March 2, prior to this, Xinjiang officially announced its withdrawal from this season’s competition and withdrawal from the league.
The famous mouth Zhu Yanshuo once again issued a document about this matter, the content is as follows:
The Xinjiang team abandoned the competition and also withdrew from the CBA alliance. The salaries of players and employees are paid, but where to go next? It’s amazing. As I said before, I don’t know the inside story about the dispute between the Chinese Basketball Association and the Xinjiang team, so I won’t comment. But I don’t agree with the practice of withdrawing from the competition halfway. Therefore, the Basketball Association also put on a situation of “it is going to rain, and the mother wants to marry” and will not do too much to retain and turn back.
I think it is necessary for CBA to do several things next:
First, find out what is the purpose of establishing this league? The first question is a big question. The reason why many bosses enter CBA is that some of them use the team to do government public relations, some are cool, rich and willful, and others are the champion dream of a round professional competition, some are forced to operate. No matter what the reason for establishing a team to join CBA is, the goal of the whole league and the league should be unified: to make money and cultivate talents, so to maintain a sustainable league. If your team’s goal conflicts with the goal of the whole league, you have to leave. However, I didn’t see the consensus. Instead, I saw the consensus in Japan’s J Alliance. They just want to make money, even if it is a vulgar goal, but if they can be consistent, they will be easy to succeed.
Secondly, CBA needs to consider the development in the next five or even ten years, instead of crossing the river by touching the stones. Since CBA now has centralized power and commercial interests and arbitration rights are all there, it is also necessary to put forward a future vision to convince everyone what we want to do and achieve in the future. The CBA alliance should not only be a passive arbiter, and solve problems only when there are problems, but also predict what problems will be. If CBA can’t provide a convincing vision, everyone has to go with you according to the mountain, which is not the solution to the problem.
Thirdly, the overall environment of China’s sports industry, especially the league matches, is relatively sluggish. CBA has just resumed its main and away games, but it does not mean that it has returned to normal. Can CBA consider releasing some marketing rights to each team? Although most CBA teams are not good at marketing at present, they don’t even have this department and ideas. However, each part of CBA has its own characteristics, and taking some time has the opportunity to make achievements. That is to say, in addition to broadcasting rights, other aspects can consider relaxing to give places more opportunities to get more sponsorship, instead of just relying on CBA alliance to feed subsidies. At present, this condition may take some time to mature, but I hope to do so in the future.
In my opinion, the Xinjiang team had the idea of not wanting to play after Zhou Qi’s return, but the punishment of the basketball association became a reason for going downhill. This is the loss of Xinjiang and the whole CBA. It is impossible for the Basketball Association to recover its life. What I am worried about is not the Xinjiang team, but what road the whole CBA will take in the future.
