Speaking of the team’s current defense, Cole said: “We expect Wikins and Peyton II to return. They played a key role in the total title decider a year ago. We can obviously feel that we are short of both of them. Our defense and body shape are somewhat insufficient, which means literally that we are short of body shape on the defensive end.”
Currently, Wikins has missed 16 consecutive games for personal reasons. Warriors brought Peyton II back to the team on the trade deadline this year, but he has been out since February 13 due to injuries.
