Live Bar, March 22-recently, Celtics player Jay Brown was interviewed about his involvement in Durant’s trading rumors last summer.
He said: “KD and JT are friends and they train together. So I am not sure what the energy is and the direction of the team.”
Then Jay felt very confused and called Stevens and Tatum three times. Stevens assured him that he would not trade Jay.
Jay said, “you must have a direct conversation. And you must tell the truth. This is how we communicate. Obviously, Jason and I, we are the core of the team building. Our expectation is to let us compete together and try to win two more games than last year (the finals of last season lost 2-4).”
“When we get together and make things clear, we work together. However, the actions that took place during that period did not seem to be the development direction of the team. I don’t know. At least it’s hard to say.”
