Live Bar, March 3 News Warriors beat the Clippers 115-91 at home today. After the game, warrior defender Poole talked about teammate Clay in an interview.
“I feel that the coach challenged Clay earlier today to be more active on the defensive side and grab more rebounds. In the past three or four games, he has performed very well. He can grab the rebound, push our attack, and let us break through in the conversion of attack and defense.” Poole said, “Obviously, we all know what Clay can bring every night. He did very well. He let us enter the state early and let us enter the competition.”
“I think clay scored 12 points in the first quarter. This allows him to be himself and makes him look more aggressive. He was very dangerous, and he scored a very important goal in the third quarter, which seemed to turn the score to 66 square. We all know Clay’s ability. If we want to continue to win such a competition, we need him to do so.” Poole continued.
Clay made 7 of 16 shots today, 3 of 8 points, 2 of 2 free throws, and contributed 19 points, 11 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals 1 cap.
Poole made 9 out of the 20 shots, 5 out of 12 out of which 3 points, plus 11 out of 12 free throws, and cut 34 points, 4 boards, 2 help, 2 break and 3 mistakes.
