Live Bar, March 3 News Lakers officially announced today that James suffered a tendon injury in his right foot and will be evaluated again in about three weeks. Mingji Woj later talked about the current plans of the Lakers in the program.
Woj said: “The Lakers announced today that James suffered a tendon injury in his right foot and would be evaluated again three weeks later. This optimistic estimate shows that James will resume as soon as early as April, with only about 10 games left in the regular season. So I think the Lakers are preparing for James’s absence from the remaining regular season. James is 38 years old and needs a longer recovery time at this age. The Lakers will hope to squeeze out thunder, jazz, Pelican and trailblazers with their current lineup and get a playoff seat.”
